Amanda Schenk, MS, MLS(ASCP)CM

Amanda is a Doctor of Clinical Laboratory Science Resident with over 15 years of experience as a medical laboratory scientist. She has worked in a variety of settings from rural and suburban Midwestern communities, to large academic medical centers on the East Coast, and a reference laboratory in Hawaii. She has spent the last few years at a regional hospital in Alaska, where she is also completing her residency.

Amanda uses her past experiences as a traveler and instructor for both bachelor and associate-level medical laboratory science programs to inform her own education and laboratory practice today. She is passionate about ensuring high quality and safe patient care through education and research.
