Bosky Upadhyay, DCLS, MLS(ASCP)

Bosky Upadhyay is a passionate and experienced clinical laboratory professional who began her career in India, where she earned her undergraduate degrees in microbiology and medical laboratory technology. She spent several years working as a laboratory scientist and lead microbiologist before relocating to the United States to further her education and career.

In the U.S., she earned both an associate degree and a second bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, all while gaining hands-on experience working at various hospitals and reference laboratories. Throughout her career, she has also held several leadership roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing the profession.

She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science (DCLS) program at Rutgers University, with her clinical residency based at Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, Michigan.

An active member of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science – Michigan (ASCLS-MI), she serves as Chair of the Leadership Development Committee and as a member-at-large on the Conference Planning Committee. As a newer member of ASCLS, she looks forward to deepening her understanding of the organization and expanding her contributions.

She is especially drawn to the laboratory field for its ever-changing challenges and the essential role it plays in patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her children.
