Joseph Indovina, MCB, AAS MLT

Joe started his career in Infectious Disease at a University Medical Center. He later transitioned into the Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology laboratory. Joe was then recruited to join an In Vitro diagnostic company where he was involved with clinical assay development. After a 5 year period in R&D Joe was selected for training as a Systems Engineer. Following training Joe was promoted to lead a third level technical support team involved in failure investigations for worldwide clinical laboratory staff including Laboratory Medical Directors, Pathologists, Laboratory Supervisors and laboratory scientists. He regularly interfaced with state and government regulatory agencies regarding medical device compliance and performance. Joe spent the last 4 years in the IVD developing predictive assay and instrument data analytics using instrument remote diagnostic data from which he and his team submitted 2 patents.
