Leanne Beasley, MLS(ASCP)SBB

Leanne Beasley is a retired Medical Laboratory Scientist with over 30 years of experience within the Federal Government. She graduated from the University of Montana with a BS in Microbiology and a BS in Medical Technology. She completed her internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

As an Army Clinical Laboratory Officer, she ensured quality laboratory test results and patient care to U.S. military and dependents throughout Bavaria, Germany and activated the Combat Support Hospital laboratory in Taszar, Hungary. Leanne continued to provide leadership, quality management and accreditation expertise at Madigan Army Medical Center, VA Puget Sound Healthcare System, VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System and VA Southeast Louisiana Healthcare System. Certified as a Specialist in Blood Banking and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, she ensured safe patient care and blood product management for the last 20 years.

She has extensive knowledge of accreditation standards for the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), College of American Pathologists (CAP), The Joint Commission and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
