Marietta Tomlin, MS, MLS(ASCP)SMCM

Marietta Tomlin, MS, MLS(ASCP)SMCM has over 20 years of experience in laboratory medicine beginning as a clinical laboratory scientist specializing in Microbiology and Molecular testing. Her various laboratory roles have included both practical application and oversight of Microbiology, Point of Care/Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular, Laboratory Quality, Management and Information Systems.

She currently serves as a Program Director of a Medical Laboratory Science school, which blends her love of Laboratory Science with education to foster the growth of new MLS in the field. Marietta holds her Bachelors and Master degrees in Clinical Laboratory Science from Rutgers University and is a doctoral candidate at the Rutgers University Doctorate of Clinical Laboratory Science program.
