Tsu Haymar, MS, MLS (ASCP)CM

Tsu Haymar is an ASCP board-certified medical laboratory scientist with more than 10 years of multidisciplinary experience across microbiology, hematology, chemistry, molecular diagnostics, and blood banking. She currently serves as a Laboratory Supervisor at NYU Langone Health’s Tisch Hospital, where she leads validation and implementation of laboratory instruments, interprets complex diagnostic results, and supports test selection to enhance clinical decision-making.

Tsu holds a Bachelor of Medical Science from Long Island University and a Master of Science in Health Informatics from Stony Brook University.

Now pursuing her Doctor of Clinical Laboratory Science (DCLS) degree at Rutgers University, she combines her expertise as a bench scientist and educator to strengthen connections between the laboratory, clinical staff, and patients. Her work is guided by a commitment to evidence-based practice, thoughtful test utilization, and improving patient outcomes through diagnostic excellence.
